SBFN Global Meetings

SBFN Global Meetings are high-level global forums for SBFN members, observers, and partners, including financial sector regulators, central banks, industry associations, and international networks committed to advancing sustainable finance.

The SBFN 8th Global Meeting, co-hosted by IFC, the Central Bank of Brazil, and FEBRABAN (the Brazilian Federation of Banks), and supported by IFC’s Green Bond Technical Assistance Program (GB-TAP), featured high-level speakers, including IFC senior management, central bank governors, heads of regulatory agencies and industry associations from emerging markets, as well as representatives from leading international networks and standard-setting bodies.

The work of SBFN and its members in advancing sustainable finance nationally, regionally, and globally has never been more critical, and the SBFN 8th Global Meeting took place on the margins of the G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group (SFWG) meeting, presenting a unique opportunity to bring the voice of EMDEs into the global dialogue on sustainable finance and benefitting from high-level speakers from the G20 SFWG.
