September 6, 2017 — The Commercial Banks Association (ABA) of the Dominican Republic joined SBN in September this year. The president of the ABA is also currently presiding over the Federation of Latin American Banking Associations (FELABAN), which has a strong mandate to support sustainable finance in the region. The Dominican Republic has an opportunity to take leadership and move the Dominican Republic and the region further on the path of sustainability, learning from peers, including active SBN members in Latin America.
