The Association of Private Ecuadorian Banks (Asobanca), an SBN member since 2016 and part of the Green Bond Working Group, launched the Ecuador Sustainable Banking Protocol in 2016.

The Federation of Egyptian Banks (member since 2016) and the Central Bank of Egypt (since 2019) are part of SBN’s Green Bond Working Group, with ongoing efforts to develop sustainable finance guidelines aligned with international best practices and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

The Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF), an SBN member since 2017 and part of the Green Bond Working Group, is in the early stages of developing a national sustainable finance framework through awareness-raising, stakeholder dialogue, and research.

The Bank of Ghana and the Ghana Association of Bankers, both SBN members since 2016 and part of the IDA Task Force, are taking initial steps toward a national sustainable finance framework through awareness-building and public-private dialogue.

The National Bank of Georgia (NBG), an SBN member since 2017 and active in the Measurement and Green Bond Working Groups, issued a Corporate Governance Code with ESG requirements (2018) and published a national Sustainable Finance Roadmap (2019).

Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), an SBN member since 2012 and regional co-chair of the Green Bond Working Group, has led sustainable finance efforts through key policies including the 2015–2019 Sustainable Finance Roadmap and the 2017 Green Bond and Umbrella Regulations.

The Central Bank of Iraq, an SBN member since 2019, is in the early stages of exploring a national sustainable finance framework, focusing on awareness-raising and dialogue among public and private sector stakeholders.

The Kenya Bankers Association (KBA), an SBN member since 2015, is active in the Measurement and Green Bond Working Groups, with key policies like the Kenya Sustainable Finance Principles (2015) and Green Bond Guidelines (2019).

The Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan, an SBN member since 2018 and part of the Green Bond Working Group and IDA Task Force, is working on developing a national sustainable finance framework through awareness-building and stakeholder dialogue.
